Summer Camps

If you are looking to have your child escape the house or classroom this summer, then look no further than Summershine Camps!

Based out of Kaohsiung, this camp is a great way for your child to practice and learn new English, while experiencing wonderful Taiwanese nature, such as waterfalls, rivers, mountains and parks. We welcome children aged 7-13.

 

2024 Summershine Programs

 

This summer we are pleased to announce that we will have an array of Camps to suit active children in June and July! Now entering our 6th year, Summershine Camps will have a mix of our most popular Camps for children and parents to choose from. Your child will forge lifelong memories, as they beat the summer heat in an all-English environment while learning about nature, enjoying activities, sports and games, and of course meeting new friends!

 

 

Session 1: Nature Adventure Camp (June 17-21)

Suitable for ages 7-13

As our most popular Camp, this year we are opening up 2 weeks of water-filled adventure! Sign up for 1 week or both. During each weekday from 9:00am to 3:30pm, we will travel via private bus to a wonderful local nature spot, such as a river, water park, beach, or park. Our program is designed to enrich your child’s imagination and knowledge of nature, forge lifelong friendships, and promote active and healthy exercise through play! Costs include all transportation, healthy lunches and snacks, admission fees, insurance, and a Summershine campers t-shirt.


In addition, book any two Camps this summer and enjoy a 5% discount on the second Camp!

Session 3: Overnight Sun and Fun Camp (July 8-12)

Suitable for ages 8-13
 

This Camp combines both the field trip days with the overnight experience. Monday and Tuesday are spent at field trip locations (9:00am to 3:30pm), and Wednesday to Friday the campers enjoy freedom, independence, and fun at our beautiful Kentington Resort. 

 

After first stopping at the famous Bishawan Beach, we will arrive at the Kentington Resort in the afternoon, located amidst 40 hectares of green forests in beautiful Kenting National Park. Campers will enjoy engaging in games and learning activities, bowling, swimming, stargazing, nature hikes, scouting activities, basketball and so much more, before being brought back by 3:30pm on Friday. 

 

Campers share a room with up to 3 other campers, and all costs are factored into the price, including transportation (private bus), all meals and snacks, supplies, insurance, and of course a Summershine campers T-shirt.
